Cancellations and Refund Policy

Bookings 

You can find the full list of workshops offered on our website, www.thecoffeeroaster.sg. You may find the most updated schedule of workshop dates and times on our booking page.

  1. Before placing a booking, please read through the workshop content to ensure that it aligns with your learning objectives and that you satisfy all the pre-requisites (where applicable).

  2. Full payment is to be made upon checking out in order to confirm and secure your place in the workshop.

  3.  The workshop programme, date, time, venue may be subject to change at the discretion of The Coffee Roaster Pte. Ltd..

  4. In the unlikely event that we cancel a workshop, you will have the option to reschedule to the next available date or receive a full refund.

 

Cancellations / Refunds - Academy

  1. Request to cancel/withdraw from a workshop must be submitted in writing to academy@thecoffeeroaster.sg before the workshop commences. Requests made 5 days or more before the start of the scheduled workshop will receive a full refund subject to a S$30 administrative fee.

  2. If the request is made between 3-5 days before commencement of the workshop will receive a 50% refund of the workshop fee, subject to a S$30 administrative fee.

  3. Course fees will not be refunded if the request is made in less than 72 hours notice.

 

Rescheduling

All requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing to academy@thecoffeeroaster.sg at least 5 days before commencement of workshop and will be subject to an admin fee of $30.

  1. Requests to reschedule received with less than 5 days’ notice will not be processed unless accompanied by a valid medical certificate or equivalent, subject to an admin fee of $30.

  2. Participants can only request for rescheduling once. Any subsequent re-scheduling more than once will deem the class fees to be forfeited.

  3. Participants may appoint a representative to take their place in the workshop if they are unable to attend the rescheduled workshop themselves.

  4. In the event of a no-show, workshop fees are not refundable.

 

Reasons for deferment shall be based on medical or compassionate reasons (proof of evidence is required) and is subject to approval by The Coffee Roaster Academy.

Latte Art Course (LA1 to LA6) participants must attend the next available scheduled class.

For all other workshop participants, the rescheduled class must occur within 1 month from the original workshop date.

 

Photography & Videography

All of our classes may be recorded and/or photographed, video footage and photos may then be used for publicity purposes. 

 

Returns/ Exchange Policy - Merchandise

We will only replace defective or damaged items. If you wish to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@thecoffeeroaster.sg.

We will not offer refunds unless the item is out of stock.

Perishable goods such as coffee and chocolate cannot be returned. We will send a replacement after initial inspection of the problematic product.

Returns and Exchanges will not be processed if more than 7 days have elapsed from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be

  1. unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

  2. in the original packaging

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend that you use a trackable delivery service - we will not be responsible for any lost mail sent back without any means of tracking.

Conversely, you may send us an email at hello@thecoffeeroaster.sg to arrange for an appointment at TCR Infinity Coffee Studios for a 1-to-1 exchange where applicable.

Depending on your delivery address, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

 

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
